Canada issues recalls for baby sleepers, candy and car seat
Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) have warned consumers against the use of several child-related products due to safety concerns ranging from flammability hazards to metal contamination and injury risks.
No injuries have been reported in Canada in connection with the products at this time.
The recall involves the “Dusk” and “Alaskan” styles in size 12–18 months with batch number BN 2023061, located on the heat seal at the neckline.
According to the notice, the products exceed tight-fitting sleepwear requirements and are classified as loose-fitting sleepwear, which violates federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear.
Loose-fitting sleepwear can more easily contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles or matches, and once ignited may burn rapidly, potentially causing severe burns over large areas of a child’s body.
Consumers are being told to immediately stop using the sleepers and contact Two Line Brands Inc. at hello@twolinebrands.com for a replacement product.
About 51 units were sold in Canada between August 2025 and May 2026. The products were manufactured in China and sold through retail channels across the country.
Health Canada is reminding consumers that recalled products must not be resold, redistributed or given away under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
