Tim Hortons is bringing the Wizarding World to restaurants across Canada with a new Harry Potter-inspired menu, limited-edition merchandise and special packaging, launching on August 12.
The collaboration is being introduced as part of the annual Back to Hogwarts celebration and to mark the 25th anniversary of the Harry Potter film franchise.
One of the highlights of the new menu will be four donuts inspired by the four Hogwarts houses. Customers will be able to choose from the Gryffindor Strawberry Cheesecake Donut, Slytherin Chocolate Pistachio Donut, Ravenclaw Blueberry Donut and Hufflepuff Lemon Meringue Donut.
The collaboration will also introduce Golden Snitch Caramel Timbits, which customers can order with a limited-edition Golden Snitch Timbits holder.
Harry Potter-themed beverages are also joining the menu. Tim Hortons will offer Patronus Sparkling Quenchers and a Forbidden Forest Iced Tea Quencher at participating locations.
Adding another touch of magic, the cold drinks will be served in special temperature-activated cups that reveal a trail of Patronuses when filled with a cold beverage.
Fans will also be able to collect Harry Potter-themed merchandise. The lineup includes a colour-changing Stir Wand, which turns blue when exposed to a cold beverage, as well as limited-edition Harry Potter gift cards.
Select donuts, Timbits and cold beverages will also come in specially designed Harry Potter x Tim Hortons packagingwhile supplies last.
The celebration will continue later in August. Participating Tim Hortons restaurants are scheduled to host a Harry Potter Trivia Night on August 28, with additional details and participating locations expected to be announced closer to the event.
Tims Rewards members will also have an opportunity to win a Harry Potter-themed trip. Between August 17 and September 6, eligible customers who make a purchase and scan their Tims Rewards account will be entered for a chance to win one of two grand prizes featuring a Harry Potter VIP experience for two in London, England.
The Harry Potter collection will begin appearing at participating Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada on August 12, with menu items, merchandise and packaging available for a limited time and while supplies last.
